Abstract

The major concern regarding the value of nutritional support is improvement of patients clinical outcomes. prevalence of malnutition in gastrointestinal cancer patients has been reported to ranges from 42% to 87% patients with cancer of the GTT are particularly susceptible to nutritional deterioration for numerous reasons including the presence of metabolic abnormalities associated with cancer.
