Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the main bacteria inducing pyogenic infection in equine isolated from abscess and un cured wound. Studying the virulence factor ant anti biotic sensitivity test of the most commonly isolated bacteria (corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis). A total no of 260 horses examined for presence of bacteria. 94 sample out of 260 sample ( 36.1 % ) were positive for bacteriological examination . The isolated bacteria were C.pseudotuberculosis (23.46%) , Arcanobacterium pyogenes (1.15%) and Staphylococcus aureus (11.5 % ). PCR assay for C.pseudotuberculosis revil that 16 s Rrna gen is found in (100 %) of testd isolates , rpoB gen is founded in (90 %) of tested isolates, PLD gen is found in (100%) of testd isolates Fag A founded in (100 %) of tested isolates and Fag B founded in (90 %) of tested isolates . Our study concluded that : 1-the main bacteria isolated from pyogenic infection and un cured wound were C.pseudotuberculosis , Arcanobacterium pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.2- C.pseudotuberculosis was the most commonly isolated bacteria.3- antibiotic sensitivity test for the most commonly isolated bacteria (corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis).<4- Anti microbial sensitivity result of C. pseudotuberculosis .A total number of 10 isolates from C. pseudotuberculosis were tested for antibiotic sensitivity test. The results were 100 % sensitive for levofloxacin , Ciprofloxacin , Trimethoprim / sulphamethoxazol , Gentamycine and doxycycline. Seventy percent of the isolate were sensitive for Cefaclor , Ampicillin/sulbactam , Amoxicillin / clavulanic acid , Norfloxacin and Cefadroxil. Thirty percent were sensitive for Streptomycin , cephalexin , Cefuroxime and Pencillin . Seventy percent of the isolates were intermediate for Streptomycin , cephalexin , Cefuroxime and Pencillin . Thirty percent of the isolates were intermediate for Cefaclor , Ampicillin/sulbactam , Amoxicillin / clavulanic acid , Norfloxacin and Cefadroxil. (100 %) resistant to Ceftazidime. 5- PCR assay for studying the virulence factor of the most commonly isolated bacteria corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis). 6- direct detection of C. pseudotuberculosis in pus samples of equine using the PCR assay for genus , species and virulence factor useing 16s rRNA gen , rpoB gen , PLD , Fag A , Fag B and 16 s Rrna gen was found in (100 %) of testd isolates , rpoB gen is founded in (90 %) of tested isolates, PLD gen is found in (100%) of testd isolates Fag A founded in (100 %) of tested isolates and Fag B founded in (90 %) of tested isolates.
