Abstract
The aim of the present study was:
To evaluate the antimicrobial activity of Morinda citrifolia alone against endodontic pathogens isolated from root canal.
To investigate whether synergistc activity is displayed by the combination of newer, broad spectrum, third and fourth generations cephalosporins antibiotics ( cefotaxime and cefepime ) with extracts of Morinda citrifolia in order to achieve more effective mode for delivering local application of antibiotics within the infected root canal rather than systemic routes of administration.
