Abstract

The Aim of the present study comprises two main parts: Part І: An assessment of the calcium ion release and pH of the following sealers:
1- MTA Fillapex.
2- Smart paste bio which is a component of a new hydrophilic polymer based obturating system. Part П: To test the adaptation between smart seal which is a new hydrophilic polymer based obturating system and the dentinal walls using scanning electron microscope (SEM). Furthermore, consideration will be given to the penetration of the epoxy resin based sealer in dentinal tubules using (TEM).
