This study (Activity Industrial and Commercial Kurds in the second Abbasid era 232-656 H / 847-1258 AD), has contained the economic life in the country’s Kurds, including industrial and commercial activities, The importance of studies to clarify the cultural aspects of the state Islamic in general, and the country’s Kurds In particular, although knowledge of general economic activity, and the means of production and the various tax systems and employers crafts and artisans and working its business hard, and knowledge of trade and the ways business and trade relations, and knowledge of the markets and the interpretation of the manifestations of prosperity, which prevailed in the afternoon as important as the second Abbasid era, The reasons for selecting the theme universe economic life in the history of the mysterious threads in the Islamic history, economic history and did not garner the attention of the Kurds historians and researchers as they should.
This study consists of an introduction and preface, four chapters, as well as the conclusion and supplements, has shed researcher light in the boot on the historical narrative to label the Kurds and the country’s Kurds and months Kurdish tribes, religious, political and administrative life, and agricultural activity and livestock, and came first chapter titled (factors affecting the industry and trade in the country’s Kurds), including geographical factors, economic crises, and the policy of taxing foreign invasions, and came second chapter titled (industrial and craft activity in the land of the Kurds) and eat the most important industries, the most important communities craftsmen and artisans, and came third chapter entitled (Activity commercial Kurds), and stated where the most important cities of trade and trade routes, and means of transport and trade relations to the country’s Kurds, varieties traders, came fourth chapter entitled (markets in the country’s Kurds), and included the types of markets, currencies and commodities traded mutual and control markets.
And adopted a researcher on a number of sources and references Arabic Kurdish, Persian and foreign references, in addition to a set of theses and periodicals, and the researcher found that despite the multiple factors affecting the economic life in the second Abbasid era, did not prevent the Kurds from the practice of industrial and commercial activity and stimulate the markets and expansion in their cities.
