The Study aims to know how the Egyptian films and series treat the phenomenon of Spinsterhood in Egypt, ine the context of Cultivation Theory, This study depends on sample survey methodology using two tools in collecting data: they are: A coutent Analysis form for a sample of series (4 series) and films (31 Films) dealing with spinsterhood phenomenon, A questionnaire contains a number of questions and criteria for measuring the study variations: then it is filled during an interview with the respondent at the age of 25 and above – as it is the age at which they start to feel the problem who watch television drama (films and series that are monitored) in my governorate: Gharbia, and Great Cairo. The study had some results, the most important are: First: the ruslts of the analytical study dramatic work treatment methods seems to be different among films and series. Treatment methods in films were greatly negative, but in series, treatment was significantly positive. Series also focus on proposing solutions for the problem, not just presenting it. There was another difference from films which did not focus on presenting the problem and proposing solutions for it. This show failure of films in finding solutions for that serious problem. Second: The ruslts of the field study: The first hypothesis, which says that there is a relation between the level of watching films and series which deal with spinsterhood phenomenon and the level of exaggeration in evaluating it, was proved to be true.
