Abstract The present study aims at the assessment of the clinical significance of urinary liver type fatty acid binding protein in patients with coronary artery disease and to evaluate its relationship with other biochemical parameters of the disease. Thirty patients with coronary artery disease were selected to perform the study. They were divided into 10 patients with stable angina, 10 patients with unstable angina and 10 patients with acute myocardial infarction. They were compared to 10 normal subjects as a reference group. |
