Abstract
Due to irregularity of lateral load resisting systems in the majority different buildings, the moment resisting frames located at these types of buildings are subjected to complicated case loading including normal force, biaxial bending moment, biaxial shear force and torsional moment acting on both beam and column. Thus the effect of this type of complicated case of loading on the overall structural behaviour of beam-column joints must be taken into the consideration.
