Abstract The present investigation aimed at developing a functional dairy product in a special way to assure the best circumstances regimen of treatment of persistent Diarrhea (PD). The product dependa on fermentation of whey protein concentrate by lactobacillus acidophilus and fortification with Arthrospira Platensis. The final aim was to study the effect of spirulina alone or incorporated withun the developed functional dairy product as an adjuvant in the treatment of pediatric persistent diarrhea, in comparison with the standard treatment of theses patients. |
