Abstract

The authenticity of honeybeehasa great importance for commercial and health reasons.This study is attended to use three types of honey bee (Clover-Citrus- Marjoram) because of theircharacterization,uses and also they arethe most common in the local market.The objectives of this study were: 1) To evaluate thequality of differenthoney bee (Clover-Citrus-Marjoram) according to physicochemical characteristicsand determine the optical properties,2) To estimate the transmission property of prediction of honeybeeusing visible laser technique, and 3) Possibility of adulteration of honey bee according to high transmission intensity of laser beam through Cloverhoney bee. Helium- neon (He-Ne) laser in the visible light with wavelengths 632.8, with power 8 mw, beam diameter 1 mm and model of 05-LHP-was used to measure high transmission intensity, also physical and chemical properties were measured. The obtained results were asthe increasing transmission intensity more than3520 lux which ranged (4870 –6980 Lux), the additives of honey bee may be water or sugar solution. While, when the transmission intensity ranged (3570 4120 Lux), the additives of honeybee may be glucose honey. But, the decreasing transmission intensity less than 3520 lux which ranged between (3440 –120 Lux) and (2440 –85 Lux) the additive of clover honey bee may be starch suspension or black honey and.4) The transmission intensity method using visible laser for predicting adulteration type of Clover honey bee considered is considered faster and more accurate method. The physicochemical properties of three honey beewereinside standard limitation.from image microscopic of pollen, itnoticed that the image analysis of image light microscopic has numerous of pollen grains of plant in honey bee. Therefore, three honey bee were nectar honey bee because of it numerous pollen grains of plant inside honey bee.The results evaluation of three honey bee showed high transmission intensity was of 3870 Lux for Citrus honey bee, while the low transmission intensity of 2880 Lux for Marjoram honey bee. Then termediate was 3520 Lux for Clover honey beeof quality. Through Maximum opticalproperties(Absorption, Transmission, and Reflections) ohree honey bee at different light regions using spectrophotometer, it was oticed it is preferable to use 617 and 616 nm wavelength of visible light as measuring, because of it is more common in uses than others. So, in this case we can use the transmission or reflections percentage of visible light as measuring, light select visible light with wavelengths ranging from 617 and 616 nm as quality measuring of Clover honey bee.
