Abstract

This study was performed to evaluate the bonding durability of cement retained implant-supported restorations using three different interim luting agents in-an in vitro condition. The Sixty samples were distributed into three groups Provilate calcium hydroxide cement (group A), Relyx Temp NE (groupB), Cavex temp NE each accounting twenty samples and each group where sub divided into two sub groups according to storage condition before tensile testing. Each subgroup accounting ten samples. Samples grouping and sub grouping are showing on table(2). Subgroup (1): specimens were tested for tensile test after storing in distilled water for 24 hours at 37oC . Subgroup(2): specimens were stored in distilled water at 37oC for 24hours and then subjected to thermocycling for 5000 cycle (5-55ºC) with a 30-s dwell time, 20 seconds transfer time . This corresponds to 6 months of clinical condition.40Specimens distribution throughout this study is listed in table (7-2).
