Abstract This study was carried out to record the effect of fosfomycin (40 mg/kg B.Wt) and its interaction with diclazuril (1 ml/ 4 L drinking water) on body performance, hematological, biochemical parameters and histopathological examination in addition to evaluate fosfomycin efficacy on experimentally infected broilers with E. coli serotype O78. We found that using diclazuril did not effect on efficacy of fosfomycin against E.coli and we can you the both drugs together safely. Also a significant improvement in clinical signs and body performance were recorded, the hematological and biochemical parameters returned to its normal levels at the end of the experiment in infected chickens ( E.coli O78) treated with fosfomycin alone or both fosfomycin and diclazuril together. |
