Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between circulating CD14+CD16+ monocytes subsets and the severity of coronary artery disease assessed by coronary angiography (CAG) in patients with stable angina pectoris. It was carried out on 80 subjects: 60 stable angina pectoris patients selected from Cardiology Department, of Tanta University Hospital and were subdivided into three groups according to their coronary angiography into normal coronaries’ patients, single coronary diseased and multiple coronaries diseased. Another 20 apparently healthy subjects, matched for age and sex were included as control group. All included subjects were submitted to full history taking, clinical examination and laboratory investigations. |
