Abstract
This research was performed to study the microshear bond strengths of resin composite bonded to sound dentin. Three types of adhesive systems used in this study, one solvent free self-etch and two solvent containing one-step self-etch adhesives. Thirty extracted human sound molars were utilized. The teeth were mounted in an acrylic block (2 mm below C.E.J). The occlusal surfaces were sectioned with a low-speed diamond disk under water coolant to expose clean flat dentin surface, 600 Grit wet silicon carbide abrasive papers were used to finish the dentin surface in a circular motion and create a smear layer.
