Abstract
The present thesis includes preparation, characterization and studying the structural changes of prepared system.
The system concern: ” effect of adding AuNPs were retraced to evaluate structural, optical, morphological and electrical properties of the PVA/PEO blend” .These films have been prepared by casting technique, while different techniques had been used to investigate systems: Experimental studies includes, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Ultraviolet and visible (UV/vis.) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) for structural investigation, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM) for surface morphology and DC conductivity for electrical properties.
All previously mentioned techniques suggest that Au-NPs improve the optical, structural, and electrical properties of polymer blend (PVA/PEO) more than Au-NPs.
All the changes in the measured physical properties may be attributed to the interaction between polymer blend and Au-NPs.
