The study came that include seven chapters methodology and theory and field began the first chapter, to represent the theoretical principles and methodology of the subject of the study, procedures, and it will determine the researcher subject of the study and the reasons for his choice and its importance, and the problem of the study and the objectives of the study and its questions in addition to the concepts of the study and theories, and will deal with the special study concepts, namely, (social constraints - Post - development), also reviews the theory and methodology of the study procedures, including procedures theoretical presentation theory structural and functional theory role theory. The second chapter entitled previous studies, the researcher will address Arab and foreign studies on women’s participation in the development process and then addressed in this chapter make use of previous studies and to comment on them. It will address also the researcher in the third quarter, which came on ”the reality of Omani women and their participation in the development process” where eat in fact sociological to share Omani women in development, and levels of sustainable human development in the Sultanate of Oman between development goals and objectives in the Omani society, in addition to the development and participation of indicators Omani women and, finally, it will be presented models of Omani women and their participation in development throughout history. The researcher will be addressed in chapter IV obstacles participation of women in the development process in the Sultanate of Oman in terms of social, economic and political obstacles facing women’s participation in the development process in the Sultanate of Oman. Then came the fifth chapter entitled ”vision for the future participation of Omani women in the development process” in which the researcher will address the need for women’s empowerment and their participation in community development, in addition to the vision for the future political, social and economic empowerment of women and their participation in the Oman Development Chapter VI, and encase the field study in which the researcher deals with the field study and statistical treatments to form questionnaire and interview guide. Finally, the study ended in Chapter VII, who is a summary of the most important results of the study and recommendations where the researcher will address the results of the field study, and the main conclusions of the study, and finally the necessary recommendations to the study.
