Abstract Saturation happens in different locations in the system which affects the performance negatively. Improvement is considered a very interesting point of research. To overcome the drawbacks of such a phenomena; in this work, a combination of vector control and backstepping control technique is presented and tested on an experimental set. The proposed controller has proved its ability to improve positioning system performance in the presence of saturation. Practical implementation and experiments had been carried out to validate the simulation results. |
