The study aimed to IdentitY :
I . The nature, the degree and the rank-order of farmers expOsure to
some Agricultural Extension communication methods .
2. Some socio-economic characteristics o(farmers with influences on the e’Xposure to
.1\g.ricultural F.xtension communication methods.
3. The rank-order of some Agricultural E”tension CO!=’unication methods which fanners consider
thiOill as.50urces of their information about some uaditional crops and agricultural practices.
To achieve the study goals, theoretical and methodologtical frame work have been developed before
carrieing on the filed study at three
·districts of ”ALEPPO” Governorate . Data.were collected by per.sonal
interviews from a random sample of 200 farmers distributed on eleven
villages.
Means, standard deviation, percentages, simple correlations multi regression analysis and stq>·wi
se Multiple correlation and regression revealed the following findings :
I. The rank-order of the Agri ultural ElClensioo communication methods according to the farmers
exposure were as follow$ : Individual visites. ·office visites, radio, television, extension
