Abstract
A large number of patients presents to the emergency department(ED) with undifferentiated chest pain, which remains a formidable clinical challenge. Conventional algorithms are time consuming, expensive and often fail to establish a definite diagnosis. With recent technological developments, there has been hope that a comprehensive chest CTA protocol, the Triple Rule Out (TRO) Multi-slice CT angiography may aid in the evaluation of those patients by providing an accurate assessment of the entire thoracic vasculature in a single imaging study.
