Abstract This study included 20 patients; they are 9 males and 11 female, their age ranged from 32 to 08 years with mean age 45 years. All patients were examined by MDCT. The commonest complaint in the studied cases was abdominal pain (70%) followed by abdominal swelling 8 cases (40%) while in 5 cases (25%) there were no symptoms. Among the studied cases, rectosegmoid region was the commonest preoperative site of involvement in our study (50%) while ascending & descending colon showed equal ratio (15%) .As regards postopertative finding in 20 studied cases, metastasis was the most common finding (65%). Local recurrence was present in (30%) other findings included (hernia, abscess, intestinal obstruction, fluid collection, fistula & leakage). Among 13 cases of metastasis, nodal involvement was the most common, it was present in (53.8%) followed by liver metastasis (38.4%) & lung metastasis (23%) other sites of metastasis included (abdominal wall, muscles, bone and suprarenal gland). |
