The problem of this study is set to be that teachers specialized in teaching the course of ”
Technology and development of thinking skills” are not qual ified enough and lack some basi c
competencies which resulted i n negative attitude for their students towards this subject.
The questions of the study :
The main questiqn of this study is; how to develop the competencies of the teachers
teaching curriculum of ”Technology and . development of thinking skills”course?
Other sub-questions are discussed as follows:
• What are the basic competencies need to be possessed by teachers teach ing the ” Technology and
development of thinking skills” course?
• How far these competencies are possessed by the teachers ” Technology and development of thinking
skills” course?
• What is the training program needed for developi ng these competencies ?
• What are the effects of this training program on develop ing these competenci es ?
• What are the effects of this program on the student’s attitude towards th is course ?








The goals of the study :
• Identifying a list of competencies needed to be possessed by teachers teaching the course of ”
Technology and development of thinking skills”.
• Designing a program to develop some necessary educational competencies for the teachers
teaching the course of ” Technology and development of thinking skills”.
• Recognizing the effects of the program on <level< ping these competenci es.
• Recognizing the effects of the program on developing the attitude of the students
towards the curriculum.
