Abstract
This work consists of three parts: Part 1: Synthesis of some New Mannich Bases and mixed Mannich Bases Related to Phthalimide. 1. Phthalimide (1) as starting material in Mannich reaction with formaldehyde and (amines, hydrazine derivatives and hydrazides). 2. Synthesis of Mixed Mannich Bases Related to phthalimide. Part 2: Synthesis and some New N-Arylphthalimides incorporating a Pyridine Moiety. Part 3: biological activity (antibacterial and antifungal).
