Abstract

The main experiments were carried out in 2014 at Agricultural Engineering Research Institute (AEnRI), Dokki- Giza to development local extruder machine to produce full fat soybean, and improving properties that affected full fat soybean quality. The developed machine was evaluate under three screw types of screw profile A, screw profile B and screw profile C; three levels of clearances between compressing head and compressing head out put cover (1.5, 3 and 5 mm), extruder screw speed of (368 and 464 rpm) and soybean treatment moisture content after moisture adding of (20, 25, 30 and 35%) wb. The experimental results reveal the full fat soybean quality as well as machine productivity were maximum and while cost and urease inhibitor were minimum under the following conditions, the developed extruder machine can be worked at the optimum operating using the developed extruder machine at screw profile C and 3 mm clearance between compressing head and compressing head out put cover, screw speed of 464 rpm and moisture content of 25%, which recorded high quality of full fat soybean productivity of 0.395 Mg/h, minimum operational cost of 313 L.E/Mg, high percentage of efficiency trypsin inhibitors of 97.53 %, low rate urease enzyme of 0.06 U/g, bulk density of 0.556 g/cm3, compression head temperature of 133.14C°, product temperature after outlet of 116.8C°, consuming low specific energy of 74.61 kW.h/Mg and high percentage oil of 12.21%
