Abstract Nothing can be more difficult, time consuming and frustrating than obtaining vascular access in a critically ill pediatric patient (4). There is a difficulty in pediatric population for venous access, especially in pediatric and neonatal Intensive Care Units. Central Venous Catheter that is (CVC) often called a Central Line is a long, flexible tube inserted into the right atrium of the heart.
