Title search: Parental attachment styles in childhood and its relationship with some cognitive and emotional aspects of adolescents.
The study is aimed to: reveal the prevailing pattern of attachment with (Mother-Father) it was also aimed to reveal the relationship between pattern of attachment and empathy, fluid intelligence in early adolescence it was also aimed to reveal the difference between males and females in pattern of attachment.
The Result of Study:
Result Reveal to:
• Parental attachment pattern prevailing mother and father is the secure attachment style.
• There is no Statistically significant impact of parental attachment patterns with mother- father on empathy in early adolescence.
• There is no Statistically significant impact of parental attachment patterns with mother- father on fluid intelligence in early adolescence.
• There are significant differences between males and females in the pattern of attachment to the mother in the pattern of attachment anxiety in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences between (male-female) in a pattern of attachment (secure-avoidant).
• There are significant differences between males and females in the pattern of attachment to the father in the pattern of attachment (anxiety/secure) in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences between (male-female) in a pattern of attachment avoidant).
• There are significant differences in favor of females empathy.
• There are significant differences in fluid intelligence in favor of males.
