Abstract
The experiments were carried out at a private farm in El-Qanayat, Sharkia Governorate to develop programming control system of a locally made animal feed production line. The specific objectives of the present study are to: Manufacture of a local feed production line from low cost, local materials. Optimize some different operating parameters affecting the performance of the developed a local feed production line. Design a program for running the feed production line by control system module. Operate and manage the manufactured feed production line using the programmable control system. Reduce the operational costs of the unit and the energy consumed for operating the feed production line. The locally made feed production line consists of three units; feeding unit, milling unit and mixing unit. The performance of each mentioned unit was conducted individually, then the performance of the whole local feed production line was studied under three operational parameters: three different combination treatments for feeding and milling units, three types of control system and three line feed rates and evaluated in terms of line productivity specific energy and operational cost.
