المستخلص I start my research with an introduction to the poet in which I briefly talked about him and the influence of the environment on his poetry, and the poetic school he belonged to. Then I divided my research into two main categories each one contains several chapters. The objective elements in the first category: Chapter one: Philandering in Al Tairy’s poetry. Chapter two: Compliment, blame and longing. Chapter three: Description. Chapter four: Elegy. Chapter five: Humor and sarcasm. Chapter six: Social poetry. Chapter seven: National (epic) poetry. Chapter eight: meditation and philosophical poetry. The second category was about the technical analysis; I divided it into several chapters: Chapter one: Fiction and artistic image in which I talked about the image from legacy like similar and metaphorical images. I followed that by talking about the suitable images which represent the sprit of the age such as symbolic, sensual and radial images. Chapter two: I talked about the language of the poet through words and structures and the linguistic phenomena which are obvious in his poetry and some of linguistic mistakes which he committed. After that I talked about his own style in the construction of the poem which I thought enough to avoid useless repetition. Chapter three: in this chapter I talked about intertextuality in Al- Tairy’s poetry from the holly Qura’n and the purified sunnah, and also from the soffy heritage, religious, popular and mythical legacy. Chapter four: this is about the dramatic construction in Al-Tairy’s poetry by comparing it to story and play. That was obvious in the internal and external dialogs in his poetry, the mask, the poems in story and the poems in prose. Chapter five: in this chapter I talked about music in Al-Tairy’s poetry with its two kinds external as rhyme and rhythm and internal as repetition, homophone, comparison and contrast. Chapter six in which I talked about the poet in the measure of criticism by documenting all the opinions of the critics about his poetry. Finally I prepared a list of sources and references and conclusion contained the results which I got from my research in Al-Tairy’s poetry and some recommendations which I intended to say, then I made an index of subjects.
