It includes the general framework of the study which has been contained a presentation of the research’s background, problem, hypotheses, objectives, importance, limits, and methodology and procedural research steps along with search terms, and previous studies. The research studied also ornaments in Islamic eras in general, and the Fatimid era in particular.Turning research to identify the ceramic between raw material & technique in terms of the properties of clay, methods of forming and building ceramic works, methods of treatment of ceramic surface and drying process of the first fire (pottery). In addition, to a field study of the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo (for some antiquities in the Fatimid era). Then search also addressed the self- experiment of the researcher in an attempt to address the three-dimensional ceramic flat surfaces and using ornaments inspired by Islamic ornaments ”plant, engineering, clerical, live objects” in the Fatimid era.In addition, to the presentation of the results and recommendations of the research, as well as references.
