Abstract
Seven compounds were prepared according to aldol condensation mechanism and identified. they were:
1- compound 1: chalcone (1.3- dipheny 1- 2- propene- - one).
2- compound 2: 2- hydroxy- chalcone (1-(2- hydroxyphenyl)- 3- pheny 1- 2- propene- 3- one).
3- compound 3: cyclohexenone derivative (2- ethoxycarbonl- 3.5- diphenyl- 5- cyclohexen- 1- one).
