Abstract This thesis include four parts: the first part include introduction about polycystic ovarian syndrome, prevalence, causes, pathophysiology, treatments and their side effects, it also include benefits of peppermint and its relation to PCOS. The second part includes material and method which contain experimental design, chemicals and parameters which have done on the treated groups. The third part include results, changes in body and organs weight, hormones and lipid profile parameters in serum, histological changes of ovary and uterus, immunohistochemical detection of PCNA and VGEF. The fourth part includes discussion of these results which summarized that peppermint as antioxidant and ant androgenic can be used as alternative therapy of PCOS. |
