المستخلص
This study sought to answer the following question: To any extent the organizational structures
affect the effectiveness of the public organizations ? and did the organizational structure of the
Jaddah Islamic port contribute to improvement the performance effectiveness of the port ?
The Study has reached that, the organizational structure of the Jaddah
Islamic port is marked by the rise of the Formalization, the centralization, the specialization,
and the Professional, and that there is an opposite relationship between the extent of the
suitability of the organizational structure of the Jaddah Islamic port of what it carries out from
activities and works and between each of the environment and the technology used in the port, and
on the other hand there a direct relationship between the extent of the suitability of the
organizational structure of the Jaddah Islamic port of what it carries out from activities and
works and between the port size, finally it consider that the rational goal model is the best model
to evaluate the performance effectiveness of the Jaddah Islamic port.
