Abstract
The experiment was conducted at Arid Land Agricultural graduate studies and Research Institute (ALARI), Faculty of Agriculture–Ain Shams University, Shobra El- Khema, Qalyobia, Egypt during seasons of 2007 and 2008 under open field conditions.
The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of using substrate culture to produce green onion. Also, determine the most suitable substrate mixture for producing green onion with high yield and quality.
