Abstract The present study is concerned with these approaches: 1-Determination physical and chemical properties of Calotropis procera Latex. 2-Isolation entophytic fungi from leaf and crude latex of Calotropis procera as a sole carbon source. 3-Screen the most commonly isolated entophytic fungi for their capabilities of degrading natural rubber, and to assess the rate of degradation of natural rubber by using different methods of assessment: protein content, viscosity, molecular weight, and colonization of the microorganisms on natural rubber shown by scanning electron microscopy. 4-Extraction of crude latex by different solvent hexane, ethyl acetate, chloroform, and aqueous extract, and the isolated compounds were subjected to characterization through different spectral studies as IR, 1H, 13C-NMR, 1H-13C HSQC, 1H-1H COSY and 1H-13C HMBC spectra. |
