Abstract The main aim of the present thesis is focused on the preparation and characterization employing elemental analyses, thermal (TG and DrTG), spectral (IR, UV-Visible, 1H NMR and 13C NMR) and magnetic measurements of new complexes of(E)-2-(3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ylidene)-N-(pyridin-2-yl)hydrazine-1-carbothioamide (HIPT) with Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) metal ions with Cu(II), Cr(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II), Cd(II), Fe(III), Hg(II), Zn(II), (E)-2-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene) -N-(pyridin-2-yl) hydrazine -1-carbothioamide (H2VPT) with Cd(II) and U(VI)O22+ metal ions. Also, theoretical studies and biological activity studies were carried out. |
