Forensic Protection for a State’s Interior Security - a comparative study Crimes affecting directly the sovereignty and the stability of any state, its political regime, and the constitutional institutions are considered to be extremely dangerous. That’s why such crimes come on top of agenda of the forensic law in terms of incriminating and punishment. Further, most legislations have treated those crimes in a different manner, but within human rights. However, this different way of treating those crimes should not be made a pretext as to ban freedom of expression or to deny individuals from their basic citizenship rights. This study followed the analytical comparative approach in which the main aim was to compare and contrast the Yemeni Law with the Comparative Law. There are two main chapters with an introduction clarifying what the crimes affecting the interior security of a state are and their historical development. Chapter one is concerned with the topical law of the forensic protection of the a state’s interior security, chapter two with the procedural of the forensic protection of the state’s interior security. Major findings of the study: 1-The Yemeni Law, compared to other legislations, was found to be lenient in punishing such crimes, a thing which obstructed the forensic protection of Yemen’s interior security. 2-In contrast with other Laws, the Yemeni Law did not make a leader of any armed group a subject of severe punishment. 3-The absence of the necessary forensic protection of the interior security in Yemen resulted in different conflicts and even civil wars. The study recommended that : 1-The punishment law should include an item which incriminates the act of not informing about any crimes which could endanger the state’s interior security. 2-The Yemeni Law should model the Egyptian one in imposing severe punishment on those who found to lead armed groups.
