This study attempts to uncover the veteran poets’ vision of the world. I mean those poets who spent their lives in Al Badia, and did not live in Al madina Al monawara. This group of poets seems to have the same motives, goals, upheavals and social conditions. Therefore they have a single vision for the world. The first chapter tackles the veteran poets’ vision of the political power in the Early Islamic era. The second chapter covers their attitude toward Islam and the new Islamic values. The third one focuses on the conflict between life and death throughout the image of animals in the poem. The fourth chapter discusses the image of woman as a symbol of fertility and life continuation. This study has reached many conclusions. One of the most important conclusions is that those poets were living in a state of alienation because they were incapable of adapting with the new Islamic way of life.
