Abstract
It was consisted of 40 specimens for Ac, 40 specimens for Co-Cr and 40 specimens for Ni- Cr. Flexural strength of 8 specimens from each material was measured befor cyclic loading and another 8 specimens from each material were were subjected to 730 cyclic loading to measure flexural strength. The same number of specimens from each material were subjected to 1460, 2190, and 2920 cyclic loading to measure flexural strength. -For the study, preformed metal mould for denture base specimen strength test were fabricated having 65mm x 10mm x 3mm as given by ISO 1567 for testing denture base resin to construction of specimen and metallic mould for strength test of Cobalt-Chrome and Nickel- chrome specimens according to ASTM E466.
