Abstract

In conclusion, although the clinical improvement with systemic PUVA was moderately accepted, but the changes in Tregs weren’t in total statistically significant.
So, we recommend doing a similar study to ours but on tissue level instead of serum. This will obtain more significant results and will further help understanding the effect of PUVA on Tregs and opens up paths for future therapeutic options.
Intense sun exposure must be avoided with strict application of sunscreen (40 SPF) every 2 hours and wearing protective sunglasses.
