The study was conducted on a sample of 30 patient
The study was conducted on a sample of 30 patients with diabetes, with an average age of (27.50) years, and a standard deviation (4.44) years, and 30 healthy, average age (28.46 years), and a standard deviation (4.36) years, and aged (20: 35) years. The study relied upon the following tools: Self-efficiency scale. (Howayda Hanafi Mahmoud, 2013), Quality of life scale (Bushra Ismail Ahmed, 2013) and the probability of suicide scale (Abd al-rakeeb Ahmed El behairy, 2013), and the socio-economic of the family scale (Abdel Aziz el shakhs, 2013) .The results of this study: 1- A statistical significant differences between healthy individuals and diabetic patients in self-efficiency in the direction of healthy. 2- A statistical significant differences between healthy individuals and diabetic patients in quality of life in the direction of healthy. 3- A statistical significant differences between healthy individuals and diabetic patients in suicidal thinking in the direction of diabetic patients. 4- There is a negative correlation relationship between self-efficiency and suicidal thinking in patients with diabetes. 5- There is a negative correlation relationship between quality of life and suicidal thinking in patients with diabetes. 6- There is a negative correlation relationship between the duration of diabetes, both self-efficiency, quality of life and a positive correlation relationship between the duration of diabetes and suicidal thinking.
