Abstract
Due to the observation that EpCAM expression is detected in most
adenocarcinomas of different sites, in the present study, an attempt has
been made to correlate EpCAM expression to the oral adenocarcinomas
studied, which may aid in immunopathological diagnosis and in the
development of new therapeutic strategies by employing this antigen as a
target.
