Abstract
Tomato (lycopersicon esculentum Mill) is considered as reliable vegetable cash crop in Egypt. It is participate in both export purposes as well as local consumption .In fields as well as green houses tomato crop was attacked by several pestes affecting negatively both quautily and quality features of tomato.Nowadays the newly reported leafminer Tuta absoulta (Meryick)(Lepidoptera,Gelechiidae) in Egypt is considered the most important insect pests of tomato.
