Abstract

• Objectives: The present work was aimed to: 1- Effect of chemical fertilizer ( N P K ) on rearing the silkworm and cocoon yield. 2-Determine the effect of rearing season on parameters of B. mori 3- Evaluate the effect of polythene sheet and paraffin papet as cover and bottom on biological parameters of B. mori • Methods &Results: This study was using stock culture of B. mori egges of lacal hybird. Larvae were fed daily on mulberry leaves under different treatments with chemical fertilizer . Larvae were reared under polythene and paraffin during first three instares during the spring and autumn season (2014& 2015). Conclusion : The results showed that there were highly significant differences for interaction between chemical fertilzation ( NPK) , using different cover treatments . Results of using fertilizers are better than non using fertilizers for all cover treaments ( polythene sheet, paraffin paper )during spring season. Spring season were better than autumn season.
