Abstract

from these results, could be concluded that, the GZ 8710-3-2-1-1 and Giza 179 genotypes were recorded the highest grain yield 4.596 and 4.744 t/fed respectively under irrigation every 4 days with water requirement 4.830 m3, while the grain yield from these genotypes were 3.793 , 3.469 t/ fed. Respectively with water requirement 4.030 m3 under irrigation every 10 days. from correlation coefficient, could be concluded that, the GZ 8710-3-2-1-1 and Giza 179 genotypes were recorded the mean desirable values for the studied characters under 7 and 10 days as irrigation intervals comparing to the other genotypes so, could be using these genotypes for planting on large scale under area with affected by water stress or using as a donor to improve rice genotypes for drought stress in rice breeding program.
