Abstract

This study was developed to determine the relationship between the nurses` perception of organizational justice and commitment; propose a model to explain the relationship among dimensions of organizational justice and commitment. And compare nurses in Damanhur National Medical Institute with those in Kafr-ElDawar General Hospital regarding their perception of organizational justice and commitment.
The literature review demonstrated that enhancing organizational justice in developing procedures and policies that ensure fair interactions and distribution systems could result in improved outcomes for nurses such as organizational commitment. The most important factor to provide balance between the goals of organization and nurses, to lower the employee turnover level and improve the performance of nurses is the level of organizational commitment. As long as the level of organizational commitment of employee increases, the nurses` acceptance of organizational goala and adaptation of themselves to the organization occurs easier.
