المستخلص The current study aims to detecting the relationship between the three of concepts : Metacognitive skills , the meaning in life , and the philosophy of life, to allow detects differences between the students of the humanities, and students of physical sciences from the university students on these variables , and determine which of these variables other more predictable with other of each group of two groups The study sample consisted of 470 . 1 - Students of physical Sciences (n = 181 ) , Students of Humanities sciences : (n = 289 tools in the current study : - 1.metacognitive skills scale Prepared by Ayman Amer 2002 2. The meaning in life scale of prepared by Mohammed Hassan Al abyad 2010 3. philosophy of life scale prepared by the researcher The results showed that: - 1. absence of differences between Students of physical Sciences and Students of Humanities sciences in the metacognitive skills , meaning in life and philosophy of life, so the total score level and at the level of sub-dimensions. 2. There is a positive correlation between the metacognitive skills and the meaning in life 3. the existence of a relation between metacognitive skills and philosophy of life. 4. The existence of a relation between the meaning in life and philosophy of life. 5. The results showed that can predict the meaning in life and its dimensions through cases emotional awareness - rational philosophical orientation in the knowledge-ethics (acquired) - the philosophy of the spiritual life), so the university Students of physical Sciences . 6. The university students Humanities can predict the meaning in life and its dimensions through cases emotional awareness- Philosophy of material life- the philosophy of the spiritual life)- ethics (instinctive) - Freedom). |
