According to the latest World Heritage List of the UNESCO in 2016, Egypt has 7 heritage sites. Hence the necessity to stress on sustaining these valuable sites, therefore the main research aim is to Integrate landscape planning as a sustainability tool for cultural heritage sites in Egyptian national strategy. This research tackles two main objectives. First, to examine the use of landscape planning in sustaining cultural heritage sites in Egypt. Second, to identify the major obstacles that contributed to the inability of using landscape planning as a sustainability tool for cultural heritage sites in Egypt. |
