Abstract Abstract Keywords: inerior turbinate hypertrophy, turbinoplasty, microdebrider, nasalobstruction Nasal obstruction is one of the most common and old sympom known to human, it can be caused either y septal deformities or turbinate hypertrophy, urbinate hypertrophy can be managed medically or surgically if its non-respondent to medical treatment, There are many modalities in surgical inferior turbinoplasty . Aim: is to compare between microdebrider assisted and radiofrequency assisted inferior turbinopalsty in management of inferior turbinate hypertrophy. Study design: meteanlaysis of double armed studies Results: there is no statitistical significant difference at 1, 3 and 6 month post-operative however there is statistical significant improvement of microdebrider group over radiofrequency group at 12 months post-operative by VAS score Conclusion: microdebrider is evident to be more effective than radiofrequency on long term improvement of nasal obstruction. |
