Abstract The primary aim of this study was to evaluate three dimensionally using Cone Beam Computed Tomography the skeletal, dental and soft tissue effects of the use of direct miniplate anchorage in conjunction with Forsus Fatigue Resistant Device in skeletal Class II growing females versus an untreated control group. Being a part of a cascading research project, the results of this standalone randomized controlled trial were combined with those of our previous study; aiming at comparing between the direct miniplates versus indirect miniscrew anchorage in conjunction with the Forsus Fatigue Resistant Device in comparison with the conventional technique. |
