Abstract

PFS was defined as the interval of time from diagnostic BC metastatic brain till progression or death. The median PFS was 4.5 months. Regarding PFS, there were statistically significance relation found with Tumor subtype and mass excision as shorter PFS in TNBC with median 3 month p value 0.007 and longer PFS with Mass excision with median 31 month P- value 0.023 OS was defined as the interval of time from diagnostic BC metastatic brain till death. The median OS was 6.5 months.
Regarding OS, There were statistically significance relation found with (ECOG PS at BM, mass excision Tumor subtype and number of distant met. at BM presentation) as longer OS were seen in ECOG PS 0 – 1 with median 12 months p value 0.037 and Mass excision with median 31 months p value 0.007, while shorter OS were seen in TNBC with median 4 months p value 0.045, and increase number of distant met. At BM presentation with P- value <0.001.
this study is aiming at evaluating the prognostic and predictive factors in BC patient with BM.
