Abstract
Objectives of the Thesis:
● To highlight the importance of the Journey and the extent of the validity of the occurrence of this journey and it’s a historic event not to doubt in it.
● Focusing on the religious, historical and monumental importance for the journey of the Holy Family to Egypt in general and to the sites of the journey in particular in tourist Guidance field as not addressed by anyone from this point in the previous studies.
● Focusing on the impact of the falling of the Holy Family in the reconstruction of the places they went through.
● The Research sheds light on the (Archaeological icons, stories which inherited in Egyptian Coptic Heritage about the miracles of Holy Family.
●To suggest some practical proposals and recommendations which might contribute in the redistribution of the cultural tourism map in Egypt, by adding new tourist attractions, to relieve the pressure of visits to the current tourist sites. Achieving this objective provides an opportunity for the tourists to repeat their visit to Egypt for new tourist sites and Submit Tourism program to the Holy places which visited by the holy family and uses them in religious tourism. And Organizing celebration in this blessed holy places such as Jabal Al-Tair , Al Muharraq Monastery, Bahnasa,….)and marketing this journey around the world.
● To increase the archaeological and tourist awareness among people and tour guides.
● The registration of these Journey in a scientific research that deserves their historical, monumental importance and archaeological value, and to present it to the researchers in an accessible and scientifically documented form.
I wish the study won’t be a mere theoretical effort without tangible results at the scientific level. The practical and positive aim is to propose some new attractions and sites to be included in a unique tourist program to Cairo. This doesn’t only preserve the heritage of the Egyptian civilization, but helps to employ these results in the tourism field by providing a new source of national income.
Methodology:
The researcher has followed the descriptive analytic method by first providing a description of all the route which passed by the Holy Family from Palestine to Egypt including the churches, Monasteries which was established in the same places, then giving an analysis of the most important archaeological finds such as the monumental wells, trees, caves and icons which related to the Holy Family.

I have depended in my study on two sources:
Field study:
The study required frequent visits to the most of the places which visited by the Holy Family to see it to make a complete description of it and making an interviews with a lot of monks of the Monasteries of wadi Al Natrun and also an interview Father Angelos Al- Muharraqi and Father Bernaba Al-Muharraqi in Al-Muharraq monastery to know everything related to the Holy Family in these places.
Also I visited the Specialized Libraries to collect the information such as the Library of the Faculty of Archeology in Cairo, the central Library in Cairo University, the Library of the faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as well as the French Institute for Oriental Studies in Cairo.
